A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone where a tooth root used to be. Once the bone grows around it, a crown, bridge or denture is attached on top. The result does not slip, does not need adhesive and lets you chew normally. Because the post stimulates the bone, it also helps prevent the jaw shrinkage that follows tooth loss.

Same-Day Implant Placement
When there is enough healthy bone, the implant post can be placed on the day of your appointment. The bone then heals around the post over the following months. Once it is solid, the abutment and final crown are attached. You are never left without a plan for the gap in the meantime.
Am I a Candidate?
Most healthy adults are. At the consultation we examine your gums, take X-rays to measure bone, and review your medical history. Gum disease is treated first. If the bone is thin or soft, a bone graft can rebuild it so the implant has a firm base. Patients who would rather avoid any surgery may prefer a bridge or denture.
Implant-Supported Dentures
If your denture moves when you eat or talk, a few implants can change that. The denture clips onto the implants and stays put, then unclips for cleaning. Patients who have worn loose dentures for years tell us this is the difference they notice most.
Full Mouth Reconstruction
When teeth across the whole mouth are worn, broken or missing, Dr. Singh builds a staged plan that may combine implants, crowns, bridges, dentures and gum treatment. The sequence and timeline are mapped out before anything begins, so you know what to expect at each visit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does implant surgery hurt?
The procedure is done under local anesthetic and is usually easier than patients expect. Swelling, minor bruising and some soreness for a few days afterward are normal and are managed with the pain relief we recommend. Soft foods help while the site settles.
How long until I have my final tooth?
The implant needs several months to fuse with the bone before the final crown is attached. If a bone graft is needed, that adds healing time. We give you a personal timeline at the consultation.
Will I need a bone graft?
Only if the X-rays show the bone is too thin or soft to hold the implant. Bone shrinks after a tooth is lost, so the longer a gap has been there, the more likely a graft is. It is a minor procedure done in our office.
How do I care for an implant?
Like a natural tooth: brush twice a day, floss, and keep your checkups. A soft brush and an interdental brush under the crown help. Snap-in dentures come out at night for cleaning.
What do implants cost?

Are implants permanent?
The post is designed to stay for life with good care. The crown on top can wear like any dental work and may be replaced years down the road without disturbing the implant.
